Guadalupe's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Help Guadalupe begin Form 4 with a laptop, uniform and books.
Anywhere in the world585 views
Guadalupe earned a place in Form 4 at the San Francisco Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $950, which is more than they have.
Guadalupe loves chemistry and wants to become a doctor. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $950 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $230
• Laptop: $630
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $90
If you're reading this, thank you.
Updates from Armando
Small update. $92 so far, we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($92 in total) the first invoice got paid this week. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
4% there. I made the first payment toward textbooks and workbooks. Thank you.
