Guadalupe needs two washing machines and a dryer to reopen a laundry service
A laundry service in Granada needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after a break-in.

For fifteen years I have run a laundry service in Granada. In December, a break-in took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $490
• Shop repairs and licensing: $160
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $500
With deep gratitude,
Guadalupe

Praying for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 27 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless!

this could happen to any of us. After 9 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
