Gregory needs my school-run minibus repaired to get back to work in Charlotte
Gregory drives for a living in Charlotte, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 6 weeks.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 6 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,500. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $940
• Labor charges: $175
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $310
• Towing and inspection: $75
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
Updates from Gregory
We're at 41% thanks to 8 of you. I made the first payment toward road tax and insurance renewal. More news soon.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($470 in total) I made the first payment toward labor charges. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
