Grayson served twelve years; now needs help to get home
Grayson served twelve years in the infantry; $4,450 would cover a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.

I served twelve years in the infantry and was discharged in 2023 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $4,450.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $4,450 goes:
• Training provider fees: $2,450
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,400
• Transport to appointments: $210
• Essential household items: $390
Thank you so much.

So sorry you're going through this, Grayson. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Malmö.
Thinking of you, Grayson. I hope things turn around soon.
