Grayson received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
The closure of the factory left Grayson short on rent for 5 months; help us stay in our home.

When my hours were cut in half in July, I fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Friday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,650.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by September, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• Rent arrears (5 months): $1,600
• Late fees and court costs: $270
• Utilities in arrears: $130
• First month of rent as a buffer: $650
Every share and every dollar helps.

Keep going, Grayson. Hope this works out for you. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
hang in there, Grayson. Hope you get there
Rooting for you, Grayson. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Allentown donated after I showed her your page. Love from Allentown
