Graciela's cataract surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After severe cataracts in both eyes, Graciela was cleared for cataract surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Graciela was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes in August. The surgeon at Los Angeles Regional Medical Center recommended cataract surgery, and She is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $8,000, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $4,800 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Los Angeles Regional Medical Center since August. The doctors say severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without cataract surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $8,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Graciela struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Graciela won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
