Grace lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Ogbomosho Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $350. Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Grace could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $350 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $10 • First-year servicing plan: $25 • cochlear implant processor upgrade: $315 Thank you so much. - Modupe

Updates from Modupe

  1. Small update. $83 so far, the plan for first-year servicing plan is now scheduled.

  2. Wanted to say thank you properly. 3% funded and we've started the first stage. - Modupe

  3. 3% there. the plan for first-year servicing plan is now scheduled. Thank you.
