Gökhan needs an espresso machine and grinder to reopen a roadside café
Gökhan has run a roadside café for fifteen years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $700 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a roadside café in Kadıköy. In March, a storm that collapsed the roof took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $700 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $100
• Shop repairs and licensing: $125
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $475
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Small businesses are the heart of Kadıköy. Hope you're open again soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Keep going, Gökhan. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Saint Paul
Take care. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Awka but we're thinking of you
wishing you the best, Gökhan. Looking forward to the next update. Love from Stuttgart.
Hope things get better soon, Gökhan. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. It's not much but it's yours. Blessings.
