Girish lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Mysuru Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $500. His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Girish could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
