Gheorghe was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in February. The surgeon at București Community Hospital recommended knee replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,000, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $2,400 short.
my father has been in and out of București Community Hospital since February. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Gheorghe struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Gheorghe won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. surgeon and anesthesia fees comes first ($1,200) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. It helps to be asked.
