Get Vincent back on the road: my delivery van repair fund
Vincent drives for a living in Tamale, and a broken transmission has stopped all income for 7 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 7 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $145
• Labor charges: $50
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
• Towing and inspection: $20
If you're reading this, thank you.

Thinking of you and your family. This could happen to any of us. After 29 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything
Hope things get better soon, Vincent. Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 29 people at work. God bless
Best of luck, Vincent. Your post was clear and honest. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Tamale.

Stay strong, Vincent. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care
Thinking of you, Vincent. Hope the shop reopens soon. Put this on a community board in Swansea this morning.
