Get Vaishali back on the road: my tuk-tuk repair fund
Vaishali's my tuk-tuk is Vaishali's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $300.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 5 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.

• Road tax and insurance renewal: $40
• Labor charges: $70

Sure. The biggest one is transmission replacement (parts), $190. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for asking.
