Get Ting back on the road: my pickup repair fund
Without my pickup Ting can't work; a $2,000 repair would put her back on the road.
🇦🇺 Australia2,151 views
I make my living with my pickup. 12 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $2,000. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $1,300
• Labor charges: $230
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $350
• Towing and inspection: $120
Every share and every dollar helps.

Hope it all works out, Ting. Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Mesa.
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Ting.
It's all in the list in the story. clutch assembly replacement (parts) is the big one at $1,300, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Good question.
Good luck, Ting. Hope you make a strong comeback. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Sending good thoughts, Ting. Hope you get there. I hope November is when things finally get easier
Thinking of you, Ting. I hope things turn around soon.
