Get Shakil back on the road: my taxi repair fund
Shakil drives for a living in Dwarka, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 7 weeks.

I make my living with my taxi. 7 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $200 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $90
• Labor charges: $40
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
• Towing and inspection: $35
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
