Get Sathi back on the road: my taxi repair fund
Without my taxi Sathi can't work; a $155 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my taxi. 4 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $155. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $155 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $90
• Labor charges: $25
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
• Towing and inspection: $5
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
Updates from Sathi
Thank you all. We're at 35% now ($55). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for labor charges is now scheduled.

Rooting for you, Sathi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Lagos.
