Get Roman back on the road: my delivery van repair fund
Roman drives for a living in Birmingham, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 12 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 12 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,050. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 1 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $460
• Labor charges: $240
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $250
• Towing and inspection: $100
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending good thoughts, Roman. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. After 6 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Wishing you peace. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My husband and I read this together. Blessings.

Your post was clear and honest. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
