I make my living with my school-run minibus. 5 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,050. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $590
• Labor charges: $130
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $240
• Towing and inspection: $90
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Quick update: $185 raised so far (18%). I made the first payment toward road tax and insurance renewal. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
