Get Omondi back on the road: my pickup repair fund

Omondi drives for a living in Nairobi, and a broken rear axle has stopped all income for 10 weeks.

I make my living with my pickup. 10 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $100 goes: • Towing and inspection: $15 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $20 • Labor charges: $65 Glad we found this place. - Omondi
