Get Milon back on the road: my pickup repair fund

Without my pickup Milon can't work; a $200 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my pickup. 8 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $200 goes: • fuel pump replacement (parts): $105 • Labor charges: $55 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $35 • Towing and inspection: $5 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Milon

It's all in the list in the story. fuel pump replacement (parts) is the big one at $105, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Thanks, that means a lot.

  • It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 8 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Makati

    • Rooting for you, Milon. Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.

      • Best of luck, Milon. I hope things turn around soon. Sent it to 23 people at work. God bless.

        • gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Thủ Đức so I could bring a meal. Take care.
