Get Marcus back on the road: my motorbike repair fund
Marcus drives for a living in Columbia, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 4 weeks.

I make my living with my motorbike. 4 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $1,050
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $230
• Towing and inspection: $70
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Columbia
gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor in Lagos donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Lagos.
You're not alone, Marcus. Hope you get there. After 13 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Hang in there, Marcus. Hope this works out for you. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless

So sorry you're going through this, Marcus. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best
