I make my living with my pickup. 7 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.

• Road tax and insurance renewal: $115
• Towing and inspection: $55

Small update. $683 so far, I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.
Thank you all. We're at 51% now ($683). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for towing and inspection is now scheduled.
Quick update: $185 raised so far (14%). I made the first payment toward road tax and insurance renewal. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
