Get Latha back on the road: my tuk-tuk repair fund
Latha drives for a living in Mumbai, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 3 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 3 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $200 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $135
• Labor charges: $30
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $30
• Towing and inspection: $5
Thank you so much.

Hope it all works out. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Don't give up. Greetings from São Paulo.
Stay strong. Hope the shop reopens soon. Put this on a community board in Jakarta this morning.
Keep going, Latha. I hope things turn around soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Sending strength, Latha. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'll check back for the next update. Blessings.
