Pauline needs cataract surgery at Marseille Regional Medical Center and the family is $3,750 short of the hospital's estimate.

In April I was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery. My surgeon at Marseille Regional Medical Center recommended cataract surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for July. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $6,250, and after what my insurance will pay, I'm still $3,750 short.
Doctors at Marseille Regional Medical Center told me endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without cataract surgery. I work as a call-centre agent, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $6,250 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a call-centre agent have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. I'll not be able to drive during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.

What exactly is the $3,750 for?
Sure. The biggest one is hospital stay (4 nights), $1,350. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
