Get Janani back on the road: my tuk-tuk repair fund
Janani drives for a living in Ahmedabad, and a broken clutch assembly has stopped all income for 6 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 6 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $150 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $80
• Labor charges: $35
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
If you're reading this, thank you.

Hope things get better soon, Janani. Shared this with my family. Don't give up. Greetings from Dhaka.
Wishing you the best, Janani. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Ahmedabad.
