Get Imelda back on the road: my food truck repair fund
Imelda drives for a living in Caloocan, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 7 weeks.
🇵🇭 Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines195 views
I make my living with my food truck. 7 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $255. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $255 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $30
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $220
• Towing and inspection: $5
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
