Electricity shut-off notice: help Nikos pay $400

A disconnection notice for electricity arrived and Nikos needs $400 before January.

The electricity account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on January unless I pay $400. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $50 first, which I don't have. I live with two young children, and going through the rainy season without electricity isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $400 goes: • Electricity arrears: $310 • Reconnection and late fees: $35 • Down payment on a payment plan: $55 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Nikos
