I make my living with my pickup. 12 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $450. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $450 goes: • fuel pump replacement (parts): $330 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $70 • Towing and inspection: $50 If you're reading this, thank you.

Thank you. If you're in Çankaya I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Ask me anything else.

  • Thanks for sharing this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Dublin donated after I showed her your page. Love from Dublin

    • Sending good thoughts. Shared it with a few friends. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Yonkers.
