I make my living with my delivery van. 3 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $250 goes: • Labor charges: $140 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $55 • Towing and inspection: $55 If you're reading this, thank you.

thanks for sharing this, Dorota. Hope you make a strong comeback. My husband and I read this together.

    • praying for you. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't give up. All the best.

      • keep going, Dorota. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
