Get Davi back on the road: my delivery van repair fund
Davi drives for a living in Juiz de Fora, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 6 weeks.
🇧🇷 Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil1,135 views
I make my living with my delivery van. 6 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $500. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $500 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $110
• Labor charges: $35
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $355
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

You're not alone. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care.
Keep going. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Richards Bay.
