Get Axel back on the road: my pickup repair fund
Without my pickup Axel can't work; a $1,500 repair would put him back on the road.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom2,193 views
I make my living with my pickup. 10 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,500. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $1,100
• Towing and inspection: $135
• Labor charges: $265
Glad we found this place.
Updates from Axel
Wanted to say thank you properly. 45% funded and the plan for clutch assembly replacement is now scheduled.

Keep going, Axel. Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 19 people at work. Love from Puebla.

So sorry you're going through this, Axel. Hope you make a strong comeback. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
