Get Asher back on the road: my delivery van repair fund
Asher drives for a living in San Jose, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 5 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 5 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,750. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $1,050
• Labor charges: $400
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $115
• Towing and inspection: $185
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Wishing you the best. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Sent it to 5 people at work.
Keep going, Asher. Hope you get there
Thinking of you and your family. Hope the shop reopens soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
