Gdańsk storm relief - the families of Marketplace Lane
The storm damaged 63 homes in the families of Marketplace Lane. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The storm hit the families of Marketplace Lane on 29 June. My home was one of 63 damaged, and 12 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Food parcels for displaced families: $670
• Clean water and purification supplies: $310
• Tools and labor for repairs: $680
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,090

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Wiktoria.
Food parcels for displaced families is $670 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Appreciate you taking the time.
