Gbenga needs a braille note-taker - help us make it happen
A braille note-taker would give Gbenga independence - we're $1,250 away.

Gbenga lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Abuja Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,250.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Gbenga could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• braille note-taker: $1,200
• Fitting and training sessions: $30
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• First-year servicing plan: $5
Glad we found this place.
