Gauri's gallbladder removal can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled gallbladder removal in March is out of reach without help covering $700 of the cost.

Gauri was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee in December. The surgeon at Mumbai Regional Medical Center recommended gallbladder removal, and She is scheduled for March. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $930, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $700 short.
my wife has been in and out of Mumbai Regional Medical Center since December. The doctors say osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $930 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Gauri struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Gauri won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
