Gauri was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in December. The oncology team at Mysuru Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Gauri is 31, worked as a primary school teacher until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mysuru Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,050 goes: • Transport to Mysuru Cancer Centre: $135 • Scans and lab work: $145 • Household costs while unable to work: $250 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $520 If you're reading this, thank you. - Harsh
