A marines veteran in Varanasi needs help with a trained service dog and handler course after leaving service with post-traumatic stress.

Diya served twelve years in the marines and was discharged in 2024 with post-traumatic stress. She has been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote comes to $800.
Diya is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $800 goes:
• Training provider fees: $320
• Housing deposit and first month: $310
• Transport to appointments: $45
• Essential household items: $125
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
