The gas account is 3 months behind. Zakaria received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless $100 is paid. He had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Zakaria called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $30 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through the rainy season without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Zakaria is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Zakaria's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
