The gas account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $100. I have never been late before June's medical emergency. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which I don't have. I live with an elderly mother, and going through summer without gas isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Shrijana's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $100 goes: • Utility arrears: $60 • Reconnection and late fees: $25 • Down payment on a payment plan: $15 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Utility arrears is $60 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. It helps to be asked.
