The gas account is 2 months behind. Piper received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless $1,100 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in March.
Piper called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $110 first, which isn't available.
The household includes three children under ten, and going through the rainy season without gas isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Piper is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Piper's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
