Gas shut-off notice: help Paula pay $150
A disconnection notice for gas arrived and Paula needs $150 before December.

The gas account is 3 months behind. Paula received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless $150 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household.
Paula called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $50 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a newborn, and going through the cold months without gas isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Paula is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $150 goes:
• Gas arrears: $65
• Reconnection and late fees: $30
• Down payment on a payment plan: $55

Sure. The biggest one is gas arrears, $65. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Good question.
