Gas shut-off notice: help Orla pay $500

The gas account is 3 months behind. Orla received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless $500 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in August. Orla called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $145 first, which isn't available. The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without gas isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. Orla is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
