The gas account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $750. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $125 first, which I don't have. I live with a disabled brother, and going through summer without gas isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $750 goes: • Utility arrears: $390 • Reconnection and late fees: $110 • Down payment on a payment plan: $250 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Liam
