Gas shut-off notice: help Kiran pay $150

The gas account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on January unless I pay $150. I have never been late before losing my job in October. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which I don't have. I live with a disabled brother, and going through the rainy season without gas isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
