The gas account is 4 months behind. Kendall received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on May unless $850 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household. Kendall called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $80 first, which isn't available. The household includes three children under ten, and going through summer without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. Kendall is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Kendall's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
