Gas shut-off notice: help Jerome pay $150

The gas account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $150. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which I don't have.
