Gas shut-off notice: help Jana pay $600

The gas account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $600. I have never been late before losing my job in August.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $70 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through the rainy season without gas isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
