Gas shut-off notice: help Bisma pay $100

The gas account is 3 months behind. Bisma received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on August unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in May. Bisma called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which isn't available. The household includes a disabled brother, and going through the cold months without gas isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. Bisma is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $100 goes: • Heating arrears: $50 • Reconnection and late fees: $20 • Down payment on a payment plan: $30 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
