Gas shut-off notice: help Andrei pay $800

The gas account is 3 months behind. Andrei received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless $800 is paid. He had never been late before losing my job in May. Andrei called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $155 first, which isn't available. The household includes an elderly mother, and going through the rainy season without gas isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
