Gas shut-off notice: help Adeline pay $1,000
Adeline is behind on gas bills after my partner leaving the household and needs $1,000 to avoid a shut-off.

The gas account is 4 months behind. Adeline received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on March unless $1,000 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household.
Adeline called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $165 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through the cold months without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Adeline is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
