Josephine was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in May. The surgeon at Tampa Regional Medical Center recommended gallbladder removal, and She is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,500, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $5,200 short.
my mother has been in and out of Tampa Regional Medical Center since May. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Josephine struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
